Hi,

Suddenly, when typing my computer uses all sorts of shortcuts:
  • Just pressing the letter 'l' makes the computer log ogg
  • Pressing 'x' opens the 'Windows mobility center'
  • 'f' opens a search tool
  • 'r' opens a tool to open programs with (called 'run')
  • 'u' opens 'Ease of acces center'
  • Not all keys give a shortcut
I'm certain that my [control]-button is NOT stuck because copy-pasting still requires the [control]-button to be pressed...

What is my computer doing, and what should I do to fix this?

Thanx in advance!

4wd is correct. Some times just pressing the Windows key a few times will fix the issue too.

The design of keyboards means that the "sticking" is more likely to be happening internally in the keyboard rather than the actual key itself, or it could be an issue with the Driver . The only way the test the issue is by replacement - borrow a replacement keyboard and use for a few days to a week -

If you still get the issue then you need to look to replace / update drivers,
If the issue goes away then it is the keyboard itself at fault.

If the keyboard is one that uses real switches then it may be possible to source a replacement switch and replace it - the problem is that most keyboards are now using a rubberised matrix of connections to simulate the older Switch based units, these are not designed to be repaired but replaced -

As you say you are using a Logitech unit it may be that the company will replace it for you under warranty as they do provide a longer warranty than most and produce better devices than most
