Hello
I have four contact folders. The primary list is named ‘Contacts in Contact 2012 Upgrade’ as one can see in Contact1.pdf. It is the complete full listing. This folder is at the top. Below the primary contact folder are special contact folders named ‘Contacts’ ‘Contact_Archive_Alt’ ’Ruth’.

When I compose ‘Contacts in Contact 2012 Upgrade’ is not listed; see attachment Contact2.pdf. The other minor contact folders are listed.

I have removed all the contact folders from Outlook to reestablish the contacts. I can then go to > datafiles > add and bring in the Contacts anew. However the primary ‘Contacts in Contact 2012 Upgrade’ though in Contacts never shows up in the compose area.

In the third attachment Contact3.pdf I notice that there is a folder ‘Contacts in Contact 2012 Upgrade’. I have no idea how that folder ended up in ‘Mail Folders’. Let me know how to make active and viewable ‘Contacts in Contact 2012 Upgrade’. Thanks

The fix

No one responded. I was in a pickle. Should I delete that folder? What to do?
I went into Contacts and the Contacts Contacts in Contact 2012 Upgrade’ I clicked on Properties.
Under 'Outlook Address Book' I experimented and click on to enable 'show this folder as an address book' and named it Contacts in Contact 2012 Upgrade. And then I went to send an email ...and in the drop down box I could see what had been missing along -
'Contacts in Contact 2012 Upgrade’. I think this did indeed fix that issue....
