Prime95 BSOD, Cant figure out why!

Hi. So i have been borrowing my freinds psu now. that is the same model as my old one.
I started prime that otherwise would give me an BSOD instantly. It ran fine and the temps idled around 42-43c
After around 3 minutes the BSOD came up again and now i am confused..
Are anyone here familliar with Prime95 and possible can tell me whats happening:

Prime95 is not a diagnostic program. That means it is not a program that will shows results that have anything to do with your PC. Prime95 is a math program that searches for ever larger prime numbers.

We use Prime95 to test PCs because it runs the system to the limits of it's processing ability. The Stress Test was added to determine if the PC was capable of running the program. For us it is an easy way to see if all the parts are working together in harmony.

Yours is not. If you replaced your power supply with a known good supply then you probably have a different component that is failing. You might open that stress.txt file to see if it yeilds any clues.

Also be sure that the power supply is not underpowered. If your old supply was failing, but the replacement is good but smaller than the old one that might explain the symptom too.

I have no clue becouse the one in my system is a 630W psu with 30Amps of power to the cpu.
My Temporary psu was an old 300W psu with 14 amps to the cpu. And there it ran way better

So you could be dealing with power issues in both cases, just different causes.
The old 630W is defective and never puts out enough power, the 'new' 300W works fine but is under powered and fails under heavy load.

Hi. well i got a mail today that my new Corsair RM 650W is on its way here! YAY
If i still get the problem i will consider if my ram is defective or something becouse then.. No its not a power problem then becouse My GPU draws Max 140W and my CPU has a TDP of 125W So the system draws ~300W
becouse fans and harddrives draw power but 1 140MM PWM cpu noctua fan and 2 140MM Silentseries fans and 2 3.5" Harddrives so yeah.. At Complete maximum power draw of my whole system is bearly 300W

Problem is that the output from a power supply drops over time due to capacitor aging. So that supply could be putting out only 75% of it's rated capacity if it was 5 years old.

Wait until you get the replacement 650. It sounds like that is all you need.

Well. the RM650W is 5 year for a reason. They have said that it hasnt any coil whine whatsoever and the fan doesent even move until its oveer 40% load. the way that there is no coil whine: this due to that the manufacturer has handpicked all components there is in the psu.. so if this is defect well. Then i have way to much bad luck

I was referring to your friend's 300W supply. That could be putting out only 225W if it is over 5 years old.
Your old 630W supply is being replaced by the 650. I assume because it failed.

No the 630w was bearly 3 months old but it was defective. So i sent it back and got the RM650W instead for 180kr +
And the old 300W was around 3-4 years old yes.. But it wasnt very heavily used but the weird thing is that the cpu was very very stable then. But i didnt use my gtx 660. I just used my Radeon 4560
