Solved Print option

Hi,Using windows 7 home premium.Upon opening my picture folder and select a photo to print,But the option to print from the top toolbar has gone,If I open word documents the print option is there but not there in the picture folder.
Any help here Please.

Just highlight the fileyou want to print and press Ctrl + P on your keyboard. that will open your default printer!

In the Devices and Printers menu, have you set a default printer?
And is the file association of the images correct?

nommy the first.Thanks for you thoughts,But the problem is at the top tool bar the print option is not there nor its in drop down from file no the right click there is no print option.
Also did try a system restore but no luck.

Does this happen when you have one image selected, or multiple ones?

Thanks for the reply,And yes to both its not there for a single image nor a double image or any selection of images.
It has just vanished.

Hmm, I know that there is a glitch in Windows 7 when selecting 15 or more items, which can be fixed be following this tutorial. But since you also have this problem with less then 15 items, I would not know if it will also fix that..

If the right click > print option there in other folders and with other files, or is it completely missing?

Yes its there in my documents but not in my pictures

This is my Documents And the first image is my pictures

My Doc's..

Please see if downloading and merging the .reg file I attached below will add "Print" back to your Picture library's command bar. It restores the default registry entries for the Picture library command bar. I packaged this up from the tutorial below for you to have it done automatically.

When you download it, double click on it to merge, then approve (Ok or Yes) each prompt to approve.

Well Brink.Thanks for that info.I did give it a go followed your advice did a reboot,And sorry to tell you it didn't work still no print option.
I was thinking about doing a system restore maybe back 5/6 days maybe that may cure problem,What would one say to that?.
Must go now to help out with my wife as she has 'parkinsons' I'll have a look in later on to see any further updates.

I'd say doing a system restore using a restore point dated before you had this issue would be a good idea.

I'm somewhat confused.
When you go to My Pictures and tick on a picture dose that picture open in Photo Gallery? If not what does it open in?
If it does open in Photo Gallery does it look like this?

Layback Bear.Yes you are correct it does as your image,But the prob is how do I select two images to be printed out on one A4 photo paper??

Well here we go again with no luck.I have done a disc check and a sfcscannow nothing found.Did a system restore back to the 14th july.
Why is this print option not available in the MY picture not on the tool bar not even on the right click nor on the file menu.

I'm been nagged about some photos she wants two images on one A4 paper,It was no problem before this happened.
Don't know when it vanished maybe if I did I could restore to that date .

Any help here PLEASE
