Hi rainman,

I'm afraid you're going to have to give us a little more info. When I Goggled that "linksys wrt 1150" it comes up as a "TrueMobile" adapter - linksys wrt 1150 - Google Search. So... is this an network adapter? And what "router" do you have?

Sorry

Also, please be aware that though you know what you have or don't have, we're not there to see it. All we have is what you describe to use, and sometimes those descriptions don't always come across clear. That why we often ask for more info in describing your issues :)

We're here to help, just need more info. You might want to see my "How To Ask for Help" guide in my signature.

Thanks.

It takes time to trigger to the network...install all your drivers then reboot with the printers on, you'll have to do it many times.

Took ages to do it on a HP All in one C4500 series wifi

You still haven't told us what kind of "wireless card" is being used on the "printer"? Which leads to the next question.... have you updated the card's driver???

So... is this an network adapter? And what "router" do you have?

Thanks.

If you have not upgraded the motherboard drivers I posted earlier you have to start there first they bring the board up to Windows 7 specifications.

I am trying to get the printer to work wireless

The printer should get the first adress, something like 192.168.1.10...and have his own page for the parameters at the same adress in the intranet network. Might look around for workgroup settings.

Do not give up so fast...

Did you set to share printers & files in the network center...What's about your firewall? If native windows 7 one, allow to share printers & files aswell.

1)What you can do for a while is to connect the printer with the USB cable and let the wireless On. Let the printer do its own parameters usb cable wired. After a while unplug the printer from USB cable then reboot printer On....see if its works.

2)Control Panel=>Devices & Printers=> Add printer=> Choose add wireless printer, looks you've done it already if the IP adress is recognized.
