Printer offline

I help several people with their computer. Several times, the complaint is that the printer will not print. I find the queue has one or more documents to print and that the printer is offline. I wind up fixing the problem by removing the printer and reinstalling.
I am unable to find any command that will put the printer back online. Is there one, where and how? That in itself may not fix the problem, but it is a start.

Whenever I find a printer offline, I check the Print Spooler queue, there might be print jobs stuck in the queue.

Fortunately Brink has a fine tutorial along with a .bat file you can download that that will clear the problem in a few seconds.
