Solved printer permissions in windows 7

Hello,
I am trying to set printer permissions for different users. One user needs to be able to print documents as well as manage documents that they submit, and the other user needs to be able to print documents as well as manage all documents submitted to the printer, I see options under printer properties and the security tab but nothing that seems to set permissions as specific as I need to do. For example if I highlight a user and then click advanced then choose edit I see options manage this printer and manage documents but not an option to manage certain documents and certain printers.

Windows 7 Printer Permissions:

Print:
Capabilities: Connect to printer, Print documents, and (Pause, Resume, and canel the user's own documents)
Special Permissions: Print, Read Permissions

Manage Printers: (When you choose Mange Printers Print is automaticly checkmarked.)
Capabilities: Cancel all documents, Share a printer, Change Printer properties, Delete a printer, Change Printer Permissions
Special Permissions: Print, Mange Printers, Read permissions, Change Permissions, Take Ownership


Mange Documents: (With only Mange Documents permission assigned users will not be able to print.)
Capabilities: Pause, resume, restart, and cancel all users' documents, and Control job settings for all documents.
Special Permissions: Mange Documents, Read Permissions, Change Permissions, Take Ownership.


Those are the 3 standard permissions for printers. You can also assign more special permissions by going into the advanced tab.

One user needs to be able to print documents as well as manage documents that they submit

This person should have print permissions

and the other user needs to be able to print documents as well as manage all documents submitted to the printer

This user needs at least print and manage documents

it sounds like the user that needs to print and manage their own documents should have print permissions, and the user that needs to be able to print documents and manage other documents needs the manage documents permissions.

Make sure you give them print permissions to or they will not be able to print.
