printer offline

Hello,

I have a serious problem with my network printer. It is a small office printer HP laserjet 1200 PCL5 connected to network, works fine with XP and vista. Unfortunately, with Windows 7 it does not work.

The computer itself does not find neither the printer or its IP adress (from command prompt ping printers IP works). However if I install the drivers manually and set up the printer it creates the printer icon. Everything looks fine until I try to print test page, then the printer appears offline. If I reboot the computer the test page is printed and printer appears ready. Unfortunately only until I try to print something, then printer starts appearing offline again. After reboot the file prints (of course only if it is something small). I try to print something new and the printer turns offline...

I tried adding the printer as local printer. The same problem persists.

Any suggestions?
