Just read a couple of reviews and looked at its description on Amazon. It sounds like it should work fine with all Windows OSs and all the pre-mentioned printers.

Thank you Oshold for your input.
On the paper it looks like adequat for the job but what about a hand-on experience?
And also have you an opinion about the Netgear WGPS606?
Thank you.

I have personally used a previous version of that Netgear WGPS606 printer server and have found it extremely reliable. The only thing I would say though is that the Netgear WGPS606 does not connect using N technology, this shouldn't be a problem but it would be something I would look for. It is very easy to configure new PCs to work with it using the software that comes with.

Overall it should be a great printer server.

Thank you for the valuable info.
Since I do not use N Technology I think that I'll stay in the safe side with the Netgear then.
Many thanks.

You're very welcome.

Just to let you know how you mark threads as solved on this forum as well as the uses of the other buttons.

To the top right of this post you will see 3 icons. An orange (+), a set of scales and a red and white warning triangle.

The orange (+) or blue (-) denotes whether a user is on or offline (orange = on, blue = off)

The scales are used to give rep points; click this button if someone has helped you significantly or solved your queries.

The red and white warning triangle are used to denote either an abusive post OR to mark a thread ad solved (just put solved in the box that comes up and the admins or moderators will mark it solved).

Thank you Osholt but I scrutinize the whole post and do not see any marks or scale you talk about.
My question is answered and solved.
Just for my information and training could you send me a printscreen showing the markings you mentioned?
Thanks
