Printer Service Spooler keeps shutting down

My printer service spooler will not stay running. Everytime I start up my laptop, the spooler is not working and I have in to Services and restart printer spooler service (I have a canon mp780). Both the fax and printer are services are set to Automatic but I still have to restart the priinter spooler service. Once I re-start theit,it stay running until I power down and it all starts over again. Any suggestions as to how to keep it running?

You should try updating your printer driver, as will running command prompt as admin, type:

sfc /scannow
