Hey
Hi I have just received a second hand computer and not able to hook up the printer to the network for sharing. Well for starters the new computer is not even letting me print anything straight from the computer. The printer is BRother MFC 7340. Also i dont no if the problem is anything to do with PCI serial port and PCI simple communication controller (which the computer says does not have the proper drivers for ( ihave tried updating the drivers from intell and HP ) ) My computer is a HP Compaq dc7700p small form factor, Windows 7 32 bit, Intel 82566DM Gigabit Network Connection PCI, Motherboard Chipset Intel Broadwater Q965. I dont really know what to do from here. Any help would be awesome. Thanks

Go directly to intel for updates. HP is really slow posting them to their own site, or sometimes they don't at all if they don't receive enough complaints.
Since you know your model numbers you shouldn't have any trouble finding the downloads on intel's site.

Hi Maguscreed
Iv tried installing the 2 links below. I first tried to update the PCI drivers and there was no acceptance by the computer that the driver was updated and i also did the same for the motherboard. I thought if i did that i wuld get a response from the printer. Also do you know if i need that the PCI to work to be able to operate the printer? is there any way around it?
Thanks.
