printer sharing

I have windows 7 build 7100..I have a Canon Pixma MP 150 printer. I want to share the printer with my new Macbook Pro with Mac OS X Leopard through my D-Link wireless router. I am totally new to the Mac and don't know my way around yet,but would still like any help anyone can give me. Thanks

Hi wendy and welcome to sevenforums

You are going to have to tell us a bit more abt your setup. Is the printer wireless with IP or cabled to the dlink.

That is true, because if the printer is either wireless, or cabled to the dlink, then you do not need to worry about sharing it. Just add the printer to the MAC by opening the printer utilities, and adding the printer by IP. If the printer is connected to the win7 by usb, then you need to share the printer.

As zay said yesterday if you share the printer in win 7, you should be able to see it in the mac. let us know if it doesnt work
