Printing through a network

Here's my setup, I've got the HP officejet Pro L7500 hooked up to my mac via USB. I've got the printer hooked up to my router. On my win7 machine, I see the Mac on the network, and I see the printer. When I print something on my win7 box, it shows me that I am able to print to the officejet, but when I actualy try, nothing happens. Nothing appears in the print queue.

Any idea why? Troubleshooting it turns up nothing..

Is the "HP officejet Pro L7500" only a USB device? If so you can get a USB hub and connect it directly to the MAC and the PC. If not you can get a Ethernet to USB box and connect the printer to the network directly and then both the MAC and the PC can print to it. I have had a lot of issues with PC printing through a MAC to a printer and vice versa.
