**Admin, mods, I started here because I really do not know whether this is a Windows/3rd party software problem or an internal hardware [motherboard] problem or an external hardware problem.**

Acer Aspire V3-772G-9828[S02], running Windows 7 Professional [TrueBlue MS not OEM], Canon CanoScan LiDE 120 scanner, Canon imageCLASS LBP6200d laser printer.
This combo prints DOCs, TXTs, PDFs just fine, no problem, whether scanned or from HDD.

Suddenly, print jobs of JPGs come out horribly blurred, like Timothy Leary trips on paper. I even used CoolUtils' JPG to PDF converter, no dice; born a jpg, morph into a pdf, still horrible printout.
I reloaded the scanner drivers on top of the same old drivers, reloaded the printer driver set on top of the same old driver set. I have not yet uninstalled/removed any drivers or devices at this time, simply copy'd over them. While I'm still school, wifey is consecutively running the various AM AV AS utilities to either rule in or rule out any malware, virus, or spyware.

Because wifey and I from, time to time, often on very short notice, print time-critical documents (which often are JPGs!) for our best friend who is supplying lots of requested information to various health entities -- I have this thread in both bleepingcomputer.com and sevenforums.com.

This sounds like a printer problem. If it has a factory reset of some sort use it. Read its manual.

The drivers need to be uninstalled completely. You should know how to use Revouninstaller. Use the latest driver and printer firmware if available. Be very careful with firmware. It can brick hardware if not done right or something interferes with its upload.

F22SimPiliot, thanks for your post! I was leaning that way yesterday late afternoon, will do as you said this tonight: remove printers, remove drivers, maybe even for the scanner also. Friday, if not earlier, will reinstall drivers and devices. Should be able to report over the weekend, if not earlier, success! or WeAreGettingCloserToThat10001FilimentThatActuallyLightsTheBulb.

Ok all, problem solved! F22SimPilot said to remove drivers and devices - which I did - then to reinstall them all - which I did - everything works! Our Great God be praised - I did not cuss out the computer nor the situation.

I forgot to include this in post 5:
I just now remembered that my printer picked a setting or settings from some program or two that altered the printing of JPGs. I had to completely remove all printer drivers and printer itself, reinstall said drivers and printer -- being very careful to let all the defaults settle in, and not making any adjustments anywhere within the printer and within the scanning software that sends its output to the printer.
