0x116 bugchecks indicate an attempt to reset the graphics driver failed, more specifically it failed to respond within the allocated time interval.

Outdated drivers can cause such issues which is why I recommend updating the driver quite often, however try not to update it to a brand new driver straight away as they can still contain bugs that need ironing out still so I recommend updating to that driver a couple of months after release.

As you can see your graphics driver is over 3 years old and such issues including 0x116 bugchecks can occur.

Go to the AMD website and download the latest driver version from there.

Thanks for your assistance. I updated the graphics driver and crossed my fingers. It was the same driver that was installed when the problem began. I reformatted and reinstalled Windows 7 yesterday and forgot to upgrade the driver.

Thanks kindly.
