Problem Gta4 installation on win 7

Hi i am having a consistant problem while installing the gta4 on 7.Well i have read this forum and tried to figure out the problem my slef but all in vain.When i try to install gta 4 via setup.exe and change the compataibilty mode to windows xp sp2 i get instant error.

The application failed to initialize properly error code:0xc0000005 .

Well i tried to play with data execution prevention too and selected second option turn on dep for all programs except those i select and also update drivers but no use.Any one got a cure for this.

Help will be highly appreciated.

Have you used any hacks to remove the watermark or send feedback?

yes i did send feedback used activation crack is tht wut u mean?

Yes that is it, I had the same problem after using the patch from orbit30, you will need to do a system restore to take it back to the time before you used the patch and then it should install.

thanks mate i reinstalled win 7 becaz dint have any restoration point anyways i reinstalled win7 and now installing gta4 really appreciated grim keep up the good work

GTA NOT working


mr grim can u help me with gta 4 installation .i have win 7 ultimate .the game gta 4 has installed properly but i get a message sayin rgsc has stoppped working after i launch it. i even tried to turn all features of .net on using win features but still rgsc has stoppped workin. i have a quad core q 6600 2.4 ghz 4GB ram XFX 8600 gt cardthe latest intel motherboard wat is the problenm sir plz help
