problem in changing desktop background

Hi i'm using sony vaio windows 7 in-built,i cant able to change my desktop background it got stucked with my old wallpaper and another problem is that my catalyst control is showing an error (catalyst working stopped).


please help me to fix these errors. Thank you so much in advance!

I would fix (reinstall) the CCC first.
