Whenever I start my laptop, the box with the message problem in starting winifm32.rom just happen. It does not matter when I click ok and then everything become normal. However, I wonder whether it might cause the long-term hurt to my laptop.

There is almost no mention of that file anywhere in google. It may be malware. I would download malwarebytes and run it in safe mode just to be sure.

If you search for that file and find it tell us where it is located. It may give us a hint as to the developer, etc.
