Problem installing Office 2007 on Windows 7 build 7057

Hi to everyone & to all SF Team..!

I just made a clean install of windows 7 build 7057 so I can test it for myself. Also install some other programs that i used in XP with no problems at all but unfortunately with Office 2007. I try to install it 5x and even try Office 2003 with no success at all. So can anyone help me or should I give up?

I'm running Office 2007 on build 7057 x86 & it installed & runs fine. Can't think why it wouldn't work....

Same I have 7057 x86 on 4 machines and have office 2007 and 2003 on all of them.and did not require force administrator or compatability mode

Ive run office 2007 fine on all iterations of win 7 so far. What is it doing exactly? Any error messages?

all good work.

Are you installing from HD or CD/DVD? I had the same error occur when I burnt it to DVD at too high speed.

I have install office 2007 in build 7000, 7048, 7057, and 7068 without any problems.

Have you tried installing in Compat mode and As Admin. info here if needed: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html

i have DVDbox all file copy to Hdd.
and form Hdd i click only Setup.exe and check Ent version.

Hey guys.....

Finally my problem is solved... "mia culpa" i failed to verify the image i burned and ignore one error msg during install. I burn a new one at low speed and verify now everything is OK. Thanks for all the attention... I'll try it first maybe for a week before moving on to the new build.

Not alone

I am having the same problem. It started in build 7057 and continues in 7068. Ms Office will not launch until I run it through the compatibility mode (sucks).

On the other hand, office worked fine in 7000. I am stumped. I tried re and uninstalling office several time in build 7068 and nothing works.

I have Office 2007 and Windows 7 Build 7068, they run together problem free!

Has anyone used the easy transfer file in Win x/p for office 2007 yet and did it work for Win 7 x64bit? Ready sticky article amount compatible 32bit application versus 64 bit application. Office 2010 should be superseded in near future rather wait for Office 2013. Thanks.
