Problem installing Windows 7

Okay, so I've tried installing 7 three times now on a partition on my second hard drive. I get through most of the installation fine up until a certain point in the "Complete Installation" portion. My PC reboots, and seems to load Windows 7 and goes to a black screen with the "Windows 7" info in the bottom right corner. My mouse is visible and movable, but there's nothing to click, and I can't soft reset the PC. I've tried loading 7 in Safe Mode, but I get an error message that says that I cannot finish the installation in safe mode, which means that it ISN'T done installing the OS yet. When I hit F12 on the boot-up screen and have it access the DVD, it takes me back to the beginning of the whole process rather than continuing it.

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

For some reason you're looping through the installation...

Have you tried removing your installation media (W7 DVD/USB) when it restarts for the first time after the first install screen, and see what happens?

Could you post your system specifications or fill in "My system specs" so we know what we're dealing with?

Okay, I updated my system specs with the info I could find. Hopefully that should be enough. If not, let me know.

Well, I figured out what the problem was. I have 2 ports for my video card and because of my tablet, I had both of them in use. Apparently this messes up 7 when it tries to finish the installation. I just unhooked it and it worked just fine.

I'm trying to install win7 and the installation crashes. I boot from the dvd, it loads the windows files, appears the win7 logo but when it comes the blue screen where it should appear a windows for the installation, it may take several minutes and sometimes never loads.
In case, that window appear, the installation proceeds very slow, and if it doesn't crash I may reach the point where I choose the disk partion (after 10-15 minutes since I started the system), but even if it pass this point (most of the times it doesn't) the installation never finishes. It reaches the point where it install updates but then it can't reboot the system, the screen becomes black and the whole system freezes, but it doesn't power off or restart the system, it just stays that way.
I have tried both 32bit and 64bit versions.

Where did you get your win 7 images from how did you download them? how did you burn them? What application did you use to burn them? did you drag and drop files and folders or just the ISO to burn it?
