Problem Installing windows OS

Guys..

I am facing problem while installing windows OS. Intially i had windows XP home edition and Ubuntu 9.0.2 (dual)in my system.
Then i tried to intall windows xp. I installed through bootable CD it was booting properly then i formated my drive and
I get through most of the installation fine up until a certain point in the "Complete Installation" .it shows a message Windows will restart now and it restarted and goes to a black screen in the screen "press any key to boot" msg was there and its not going further...

Then i tried with Windows 7 OS bootable CD. the same problem happened.

Do u guys have idea what would be the problem?how to overcome this?
