Problem opening Word Docs

After upgrading to Word7, I have to open all Word docs twice if Word is not alread open. If Word is already open, docs open just fine though. Need help.

Hi, Welcome to SF,

Did you upgrade from Word 2003 to Word 2007 or you remove and install word 2007 ?

The Steps you could try

1, Ran a Office diagnostic
2, Delete the Normal.dotm file ( Start %appdata% > Microsoft > Template > Delete all files under there ( Don't Shift delete them )
