Solved Problem Radeon 5770-ATI Catalyst-Iiyama MM904UT

I just build my new PC compraising :
Windows 7 , Core i7 860, Sapphire Radeon HD 5770, 4Gb memory (OCZ platinum) and an OLD CRT Iiyama MM904UT.
Installing software gives no problem, UNTIL I loaded the ATI Catalyst Display driver (9-11_vista64_win7_64_dd.exe).
After rebooting, the screen stays blank and I have to go back to my latest restorepoint (before installing the ATI Catalyst Display driver).

Can somebody help me ?

Hi Peter and welcome

can you check event viewer (type eventvwr in search) to see if there are any errors (red in left hand column) go to the windows logs>applicatons tab and look for items relating to the crash. when you find them note the event ID and source codes and relay them to us

I used the wrong slot !
