Problem removing a program

I was about to uninstall a program: "Project64" a Nintendo 64 emulator, and I got the error:

The Feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

Click OK to try again, or enter en alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'Project64 1.6.msi' in the box below.

The msi file is not on my computer anymore...If i press "Cancel" i get the following error:

The installation source for this product is not available. Very that the source exists and that you can access it.

I tried downloading the program and install it again, but at the installation I get the same errors.

If you still have the program try reinstalling it then uninstall.
Do you have a restore point prior to you installing the emulator?
Last resort is only if you know what you are doing . Remove manually from registry

Hmmm...do you have a link to a good tutorial for how to remove it form the registery? I can't find any good ones.

Hmmm...do you have a link to a good tutorial for how to remove it form the registery? I can't find any good ones.

If you have no experience working within the Registry I would not try it and go with the uninstall program instead.

That solved it, and by the way, I am quite experienced with computers. I think I kind of learned too much about computers when I was running Linux. However I just don't know Windows this well that I know how to do this stuff.

Glad the program worked. In my statement I meant that if you nver messed with the Windows Registry you shouldn't. Delete a wrong line and your Windows will not start. That's all.
