Hello all,
Yesterday I bought SSD (Samsung 840 pro 240 GB) and let it be connected to my computer (Win 7). As always advised, I disconnected the cables of the old HD (450 GB) and tried to restore a successful image, which I already used to restore the old HD few weeks ago (made by Macrium reflect, the free version) to my new SSD. Start the computer by using the Rescue PE cd which went without problem. Then follow the instruction and chose the image of the old HD which is located on an external drive. Everything went \OK and in the end got the message the restore is successful.
Tried to start the PC but it didn’t start. Changing the Bios Storage configuration to: AHCI didn’t help as well.
Any advice about how to restore my old windows 7 image to the new SSD will be appreciated.
Thanks & regards,
Anne
