Hi,

I am wondering if you can assist me. In my work I have recently been upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7. I have noticed that part of Windows 7 is a helpful screen record software that takes screen shots, which in my work is a very good tool, however the only problem is that when it saves the files down, it saves them with a mht file extention, which inflates the file size to a ridicolous amounts. Is there a way that these files could be saved down in a different format, or is there a way to reduce the size of these files to a more manageable amount?

Thanks

I assume you are referring to the "Snipping Tool" that you can use to take screen shots or several other customized shots. My tool defaults to .jpg, however if you use the "Save As" you can select the format such as .jpg to save the file.

No, I am aware of the snipping tool, which is also very useful. What I am refering to is the Problem Screen Recorder, the only way we can get into it is to type in PSR in the search, when you click recordit will record all your mouse clicks and screens, then saves it down as a mht file.
