Hello,

I cannot copy and paste screen captures with my new computer Windows 7, 64 bits, in MS Office 2007 (Word, Outlook, Paint). The only thing I can copy is text without format. I have tried several things, but nothing works. Not even saving as an image in Paint. Is there any key that locks that function? The Special paste function only offers text without format. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

How and what keys are you using for screen captures ?
You can use windows snipping tool which should be located at, Start/ All programs/ Accessories folder.
Sounds like your using the wrong keys personally if the paste button isn't working in Paint.

Hi there
The EASIEST way is simply to use the Windows snipping tool (standard feature of W7).

If you use PRT SCR key this goes to the clipboard so you will need to start another say WORD session to copy the image from the clipboard.

Just use the snipping tool - and paste the image directly into your document.

Cheers
