problem upgrading to build 7232

i donwloaded the iso from solor and tried to upgrade from my 7229, it went fine but now it hangs at "installing devices and setting up your system" which cannot by stopted, what do i have to do?
- i used a usb stick to install it

First things first. Can you tell us all abt your computer, where you got SoLoR's iso and if you are dual booting.

i got the iso from mininova and yes i'm dual booting with a windows vista home premium

Did you format your thumb drive for NTSF? Fat 16 or Fat 32 wouldn't be compatible.

i got the iso from mininova and yes i'm dual booting with a windows vista home premium

The easiest thing you can do is probably boot into vista, delete the partition where win 7 is and re-install it but if you would rather spend the time trying to repair it Im game.

I still dont know who makes your computer, what model it is, how much ram, what video card, ......... anything else you might think would help

it's a medion akoya md 8848 i have 4 gig ram, a intel core quad Q 8300 processor, NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 230 card

Ok the ISo is probably OK. You did it correctly and it almost completed the installation. did you have to force shutdown, did it hang, or anything else different during the install?

The Best Easiest Thing For You To DO is a clean install. Upgrading usually brings the prolems as well as the benifits
