Problem viewing embedded pictures in Outlook

Hi,

I hope someone can help. I'm sure I've had this problem before but can't remember what I did to solve it.

I have received an email with some embedded pictures. I have clicked on the 'download content' bar but the pictures are just showing a little red x.

Any ideas.

Change the default so that Outlook doesn't block images in all messages

1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Under Download Pictures, click Change Automatic Download Settings.
4. Clear the Don't download pictures or other content automatically in HTML e-mail check box.

Thanks for the quick response.

I've tried this but there's no difference. I've got Outlook 2007 not 2003 which the responses relate to.

Your A/V or firewall may be blocking them.
