Hi.I have windows 7 home premium desktop this is connected to the router with an Ethernet cable.
Now the problem is when I start to do my backups I connect the external HDD using a docking station with an usb cable and the mains cable. Then when I start to backup the internet connections drops out,So there is no internet to this desktop.
Does anyone have this situation or known of any solutions,So now before I start a backup I remove the Ethernet cable from the desktop.
Any Help Please.
Thanks.
PS.Forgot to say that I use Microsoft Toy for backups. Also tried syncbackup same problem.

All fans PWM; speeds at idle: CPU circa 500 rpm; intake circa 600 rpm; exhaust circa 600 rpm; CPU temps 27 idle and 47 C load in a warm room (27 C/81 F) when running Intel Extreme Tuning Utility stress test.
Thanks for reply.
The backups I make are documents photos etc that are on a second internal drive,The C drive is only for the operating system and programs.
So my backups are from the second internal to an external hard drive.Been having this issue for some time the only way I overcome it is to disconnect the ethernet cable from pc while doing backups.
It's very strange.
Thanks.
