Hi,

I installed Win7 ultimate sp1 x64 (my CPU is compatible of running the 64 bit version of Windows). After it I installed VMware 10 x86 (I couldn't find the 64-bit version of vmware) on that OS. Since I would want to have several OSes in my machine so I tried to install the Win 8.1 x64 on the VMware, but faced this message (below image). What can I do, setting the BIOS?

I had this problem on my x64 2600K (can't install x64 on VMware). Turned out not all Intel cpus can do x64 VM. There's an Intel tool to check, or you can find the page for your chip at Intel.

Strangely, my older i7-930 does do x64 VM.
