until Sep 2012, I did not encounter any issues while using Avira - Free Version, for a complete system scan. I have an habit of scanning entire system once or twice a month.
Since, first week of October or late Sep.. I have been having issues with Avira when I initiate a full system scan.
The scan stops at 18.1% - it just blinks over there.. as if software is shivering out of cold.
Used Time - works properly
nothing else changes.
It stops exactly at :
C:\ProgramData\{some random numbers and alphabets}\mia.lib
It gets stuck even when I try to cancel the scan, I am usually rebooting to get over this mess.
I tried Malware Bytes scan.. it didn't give me any errors.
Just in case needed, I have W7 with 2GB RAM, 500GB HDD - Dell Laptop
I would like to have suggestions on what I can do ? Do I need to switch AV or any configuration changes I have to make to my system ?
