Hi,

Yesterday i noticed that while I'm watching online videos like youtube and so on my C: diskspace is shrinking. While I was watching yesterday 2 hours long E3 Sony pressconference diskspace reduced 5-6 GB. Why this is happening ? Is it normal ? I have 4 GB of RAM on my PC. When i close Firefox diskspace returns like it was before watching. When I looked in Firefox it says that is using only 11,1MB cache. Anybody can help ???

Edit:

I just noticed that this folder suddenly became 10GB in size:
tempqg.jpg

temp2e.jpg

After i closed Firefox almost everything from that folder dissapeared

Maybe Firefox is saving the videos in your temporary files folder.
Have you tried clearing your temporary files folder whilst Firefox is open?

You could try deleting these files with Disk Cleanup - Delete Temporary Files with Disk Cleanup

Hope I helped.

Yes, you could always open run, and type %temp% and then delete all the contents of that folder.

Ah, ok I see.

Try clearing the cache of Firefox when running, then check disk space.

Hm, perhaps your FF browser is set to clear the cache and history when it closes.

Anyway, as I said above I recommend CCleaner for other purposes too. Just give the download.cnet review a read and see what you think.
Hope that helps. :)

I have CCleaner and it doesn't delete any content from this folder

-->Local disk ( C: )-->Windows-->Temp

it deletes files only from this one

AppData-->Local-->Temp

No,FF is not set to Clear history when FF closes.

Its the same if i watch with Chrome or IE.

Can you not manually delete the files?

Problem is not in that. When i close FF i get diskspace back. I was watching yesterday 2 hours Sony pressconference and C drive was starting to run out of space. I just want to get to the bottom of it why this folder is eating my drive space while watching online videos.

The only answer I can come up with is that it temporarily downloads the video but deletes it when your browser closes.
