Problem with assign shortcuts.....

well i made hibernate shortcut with a help of thistutorial.....

and whenever i click on that my computer hibernates...so its working properly

now i want to add keyboard shortcut like ctrl+shift+H.....

so i did right click on that shortcut and in shortcut tab i typed
" ctrl+shift+H " in shortcut key.....

now i m pressing ctrl+shift+H but its not working......

plz tell me if i did wrong.....thank you

Maybe I'm missing something here but, if you have a shortcut to hibernate, why would want a keyboard combo to control the shortcut?

I'm guessing you could have both do the same thing, but having the key combo activate the shortcut to hibernate seems like the long way to me.

Maybe he wants to hibernate the machine while not logged in. But I agree, if he is logged in, then the shortcut would be faster than the keyboard shortcut, but 'to each his own' as they say.

well i made that shortcut but i didnt put shortcut that on my desktop but i put that in other location....so if i want to do hibernate i want to go that place and its annoying...so i want to put keyboard shortcut to control that.....

Hi, to make shortcut working, you have to put your shortcut on Start menu.
