problem with audio drivers on win 7

First off we need to know are you running 32bit or 64bit?

You're going to need to install them in Windows XP compatibility mode

Right Click Installer
Properties
Compatibility Tab
Install in Compatibility Mode, Choose Windows XP from dropdown.

Even if you can get them to install in compatibility mode, I doubt they'll work

AudioPCI64V Windows 7 Driver: creative sb audiopci 64v sound card driver (Creative Labs) 7, Vista, XP, download I dont know if these ones will work but see how you go.

Those aren't official Windows 7 drivers for those devices, that's why it's best to try and install the official drivers in compatibility mode. Not to mention the fact that the first is an unknown website.

Well both sets are Windows XP drivers. Before you install them you have to instruct the file to install in compatibility mode. This is done by right clicking on the install file, going to properties and clicking the compatibility tab. What does driver detective soft mean?

As far as the drivers from the OP, I wouldn't download the first set. The website isn't rated well. The second set might work but I doubt it.

Exactly, download whatever drives you can find and install them like that.

Also: On the Aureal driver set I linked, once you input the Captcha code, you should use the backup server to download them, the first server doesn't work.

before I was win xp dark edition and it download and instal drivers when its instaling windows... mby win 7 some version like that?

... Your best bet is to download the drivers and install them in compatibility mode if they don't work the first time around.

Welcome to Seven Forums. First off I would like to see you fill in all your system specs. this will help in the future. Go to the top of the page under User Cp click on it,then scroll down on the left click on edit system specs. And fill them in. If you don't know them you can use this program |MG| HWiNFO32 3.46-700 BETA Download You can also try going to device manager right clicking on each device>properties>details tab>drop down menu> select hardware id> Copy and Paste the hardware id's and hopefully we can find a compatible driver from their.Please include 32 or 64 bit Seven.
