Hey guys, my laptop was shipped with Vista Home Premium 32-bit and later tonight I installed a new Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit clean installation. All the devices go fine but this fingerprint this is giving me a headache. Its AuthenTec AES2501A. The drivers included in Windows Updates goes fine with installation but they won't work. When I click one any finger to give fingerprints, it shows me a windows asking for new password. When I enter any password it says incorrect :(. I don't know which password to enter as I don't have any password on Windows admin account nor at Bios. Sensor also seems not in working. Any help would be really appriciated. Thanks

Install the drivers/software for the fingerprint reader BEFORE you go to updates and that will eliminate the problem
