Hi Guys,
I don't know why but since I have Window 7, I was never able to make the software "Cyberlink PowerDVD" work. I install it and everything is fine untill I put a DVD, the program kind stop and says it need to close due an error or something like that. I tried to install an older version and the same thing happened! Do you have an idea of what could cause that? I really like this product so it would be awesome that it could work.
Thanks in advance,
Yannik

I have installed the latest versions of Power DVD 10 Ultra Mark II - a constituent in Cyberlink Media Suite 9 Ultra - on my desktop and also on my Mediacentre - standalone upgrade from OEM Power DVD9. In both cases had had no problems either during the installation or subsequently in running them.

Assuming that you have a genuine/licensed version and not a cracked/pirated copy, only someone else who had experienced the same problem and resolved it can give some guidelines. Even here one has to consider that no two systems are alike and there are lots of variables.

First check to what region your optical drive is set - may be it is final and you are using a DVD of that region code. Run through a complete virus/malware check.

If no solution from similarly placed individuals is forthcoming, I would suggest you make a clean install of Windows and start off on a clean slate - if you can.

Alright thanks guys for the info! It is kinda frustrating because I've been using PowerDvD for a long time and now, for some reason, I can't run it.....Anyway, I will go directly to Cyberlink support team, maybe they can help!
Thanks again,

Yannik
