I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this topic, but I cannot figure out the problem so please help. We have training software that uses a database saved on the network. We never had a problem until we switched from Windows XP to Windows 7. Now we get errors quite often. Say a user is on one of the pc's and is having no problem, sometimes the 2nd user gets in successfully and it ends up throwing an error out to the first user. When I get out of the application, the .ldb file is still out there, which I wonder if that's whats causing the problem. So could it be a problem with Windows 7 that it's not removing the .ldb file? We also have a couple pc's with XP that are used to track the training progress, and these have never caused an issue before, but curious if the combination of XP and Windows 7 machines could be causing the problem? I've tried XP mode on the 7 machines and still having the same problems.
