Use Ashampoo to create a data disk (with AVI files).
Disk plays in my standalone DVD player.
Insert DVD-RW into PC to write different files.
Windows does not recognise the disk as valid, and hangs the drive.

TEST-

Burn a DVD-RW with Windows built-in function. Then try to add more files. Success = Ashampoo problem.

Report result.

Casca is probably right... Ashampoo is probably not resetting the drive correctly.

Other Info
Also ASRock ION 330 as HTPC (on XP).
Acer Aspire as GP netbook (on XP).
With many of those programs, it is only possible to write one file on it. E.g. DVD Flick is the same.

Thanks.
Put a disk with data in it in drive and rand DVD Maker. Existing files do not show. Does it always erase and then write?
