To read the blue screen info you need to disable restart on error:

Start > Computer > System Properties (top) > Advanced System Settings (left) > Startup & Recovery > Settings > and under 'System Failure' uncheck: "Automatically Restart".

Also check to be sure that the "write an event..." is checked.

Backup you data ASAP, then download SeaTools for DOS and run it to check your HD, it is OS independent and will give you better testing of the whole drive.

I would check my SATA connections on the mobo & HD & maybe even change to a different SATA port on the mobo. If it still tests with the same problems, I agree with former post to backup all important data ASAP & replace the HD. You may consider cloning the old HD to the new HD if you don't have a WIN 7 installation disc. Hopefully there will be no problems transferred to the clone.

Those sounds may be BIOS error codes. They will come like Morse code, either long or short beeps. You listen for the pattern: long - short - long, short - short - long, etc. The code will give you clues to what hardware is failing.

One thing you should check:
Turn off the computer, disconnect the data cable to the hard drive, then start up again. Check to see if it will boot until you get a message on the screen telling you there is no boot device (of course) without any beeping from the speakers.
