Problem with IE explorer with Win7

I am using DSL. The only time Win 7 has crashed since I installed it around 2 weeks a gowas when I am using IE yesterday. I was just browsing about, can't remember doing anything specific. Is there a log somewhere that would describe the error so I could post the info?

Aside from that Win7 has been very stable. Only other issue was getting my printer to work which I resolved.

Did 7 crash, windows explorer or IE?
If it was IE, you can reset it to see if it helps. Quite a bit of people have had IE crash multiple times though.

You might run SFC, as it's a quick way to fix any damaged system files. Sometimes it helps, sometimes not.

Type eventvwr in the start search box. Click on the icon then locate the date and time .... what is the error?
