problem with media player

every time i click on the media player it talls me do i want to allow the following program make changes to this pc.

then when i get into media player and go to play a movie the screen goes from maximised to a small screen in the top left hand corner.

also when watching a movie there are red dots on the screen in threes and fours vertically , this doesnt happen if i watch using classic media player.

is it possible to put the install disc for windows 7 into pc and just reinstall media player only , so that everything else is left alone.

Err, no. When you put an install CD in a computer, it usually installs everything you need.

No that didnt fix it so i am now using classic media player.
