Problem with mediaplayer on taskbar

when i click on the media player icon on the taskbar a new icongets created and media player opens on that icon

Do you have 32 or 64 bit? It does that for me if you pin the 64 bit WMP to the taskbar, but not the 32 bit one.

Sorry, I wouldn't know then. I've never had it happen with 32 bit in any build for me. I would suggest to install a later more recent build like 7100 RC, it's possible it just a bug that's been fixed in a later build.

I agree, i'm using 32bit 7100 and it's flawless. I had issues with every build before 7077 which is just as stable as 7100 so it might be worth downloading. I have links to the real 32bit torrent if you want me to PM you.

can i upgrade form build 7057 to 7100RC. and if i afce any problems will i be able to roll it back with system restore
