Problem with mouse

I have a problem while playing some games on my PC. My OS is windows 7, I encountered the problem after I installed Bad Company 2. The mouse pointer is shifted from its actual location, in a way that I cannot hit the right buttons. Anyone can help? I would really appreciate it. Only when I run the game (and few others) that I have this problem, otherwise the mouse works perfectly.

You should check your resolution to make sure they are lined up. Try playing in windowed mode as well.
