Problem with playing .avi image file

I have an application in which we can play all files e.g .avi,.tiff,.jpeg etc.
This application is working fine on Winodws Vista.But with Windows7 I am facing problem with playing .avi file.
It is unable to play the .avi file with more than 1 frame on winodws 7.Please help me ASAP.

I am not sure about this one, or whats going on. If you have an image file, it wont be saved as an .avi
Usually those save as .jpeg, .png, etc.
If you have an AVI movie, try downloading VLC Media Player, and play it with that. It has a ton of codec's and should play almost any video file.
