Hello, I just built a new pc and hooked up my 24in. 1080p Hannspree monitor. The native res. is 1920x1080. The problem I am having is that in the Win7 screen resolution panel, I can set it to the (recommended) 1920x1080, but when I do the bg streches itself about a half inch off screen on all sides of the monitor leaving only half of the icons and menu bar showing. Also in 1920x1080 and the lesser resolutions the text is just a bit fuzzy and definatley not as clear as it could be. I am using a Geforce260 card as well. I have tried installing the Vistax64 driver to try and fix these problems to no avail. Anyone know what could be the problem?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome!

Try using the controls on your monitor to shrink the image to size.

I know your showing native res. But in device manager are you showing your monitor or PNP if the later PNP try installing your monitor driver.

Checked my monitors menu again, and had it set set to video mode instead of PC mode....... Fixed the problem. Thanks for the quick responses guys!
