Did the F11 key respond at all? What happened exactly? Is it frozen during Recovery process?

I would burn the Repair CD, put it in the CD drive, boot it by restarting the computer and tapping the key for Boot Menu. If necessary enter BIOS setup to set CD drive first to boot before HD, then press key to boot CD when prompted after restart. http://pcsupport.about.com/od/tipstricks/ht/bootcddvd.htm

Once you've booted the CD, let it try to find your Win7 installation and accept any offered repair. This may not start Win7. If not, boot back in and click through to Recovery Tools list to run Startup Repair up to 3 separate times to repair the System MBR: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105541-startup-repair-run-3-separate-times.html
