Hello

I have Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit. I downloaded the Universal theme patcher 1.5 and when it opens, it only lets me patch the themeui.dll and the uxtheme.dll and it doesn't let me patch the themeservice.dll. It doesnt even recognize it at all even though the file is there. I have also tried the alternative method of using that other program but that didn't help either so I was just wondering if I could get the themeservice.dll file so I could manually patch it myself? thx

Can't help you with those Racenilatr...

However there is a better solution in my experience;

How to Enable Custom Themes without Modifying System Files

The UnsignedThemesSvc that is installed via this method is currently using 180k memory on my machine, with a full custom theme.

Just be sure to un-patch any system files you have already patched before installing this option, restart, and backup your machine just in case.

Enjoy :)

I figured out the solution so you dont have to use the work around

I figured out the solution so you don't have to use the work around and use up system resources.
copy your themeservice.dll from c:\Windows\system32\ to c:\Windows\SysWOW64\ before you patch the 32 bit version. it should be available and restarting after both 32 and 64 dll's are patched will make it start working
