problem with User account

I got this problem my desktop icons/startups went missing

but when i check on the Users folder i can see them[desktop icons]

all my auto start are gone.. ex. anti virus, ym, msn, etc etc

its like that i have a new user account..

Welcome,
Important things first. Changes like this do not happen. It can be a major problem
Run a full anti virus scan
Download and run malwarebytes. Full scan and update it first

If these are negative, try a system restore.

But be sure, we do not want a virus to sperad to restore points..

Also make sure that the Show Desktop Icons item is checked, to make sure:

Right Click on the Desktop > Hover over "View" > and make sure "Show Desktop Icons" is checked.
