problem with Visual Studio 2008

Hello, I am haplessly trying to install Visual Studio 2008 and MSDN, but both the setups fail in the intial stages itself.
I have a screenshot attached to this post.
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit)

Please help!

I have the same problem but I'm running windows 7 X64bits
can any body help me in this issue????

i have the same problem, tried compatibility mode but nothing worked
